Why you're seeing the same bagels
If you passed on someone before, they may appear in your Suggested again after some time, giving you both a chance to reconsider. Our algorithm may bring a bagel back if it still thinks you could be a great match – sometimes timing makes all the difference.
Someone who has already liked you may also appear in Suggested. Like them back and it's an instant match.
You shouldn't see the same bagels very often. But if your preferences are very specific and there aren't many daters near you who match, familiar faces may show up more often simply because there are fewer new profiles to show you.
Why you're seeing fewer bagels
Your daily batch is personalized based on your preferences, your location and the daters available near you. If your preferences are very specific, there may simply be fewer profiles that meet them on a given day.
What you can do
- Widen your preferences. Even a small change, like distance or age, can make a big difference.
- Get Selfie Verified. Many daters only see verified profiles, so verifying helps more people see you.
- Try Discover. Use Search in Discover to explore more people.
